After we ensure that patients are in good oral health, we will recommend cosmetic dental treatments to enhance patients’ smiles. Cosmetic treatments we offer patients in our dental office include:

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin, shell-like treatments that we place on the front of teeth. Veneers can cover damaged, discolored, and slightly crooked teeth, creating a more balanced and brighter smile. Dental veneers are a long-lasting option for patients who want a brighter and straighter smile without orthodontic or whitening treatment.

Teeth Bonding

Dental bonding treatment uses malleable, tooth-colored materials to cover tooth chips, fractures, stained teeth, and small gaps between teeth. Bonding is an economical alternative to veneers and offers quick and efficient treatment.

Teeth Whitening

We provide Opalescence take-home teeth whitening treatment. The Opalescence PF 10% and the Opalescence PF 35% are effective whitening treatments for patients with stained, yellowed, and discolored teeth. The active ingredients in our whitening treatments penetrate the tooth enamel and help lift stains.

Cosmetic Dentistry FAQs

Read answers to commonly asked questions about cosmetic dental treatment:

Can dental veneers cover all of my teeth?

Veneers will only need to cover the teeth that show in the smile line or the teeth that show when smiling. If patients have damaged teeth outside the smile line, we may recommend dental bonding or crowns. Dental veneers improve the smile’s aesthetics and only cover the front of the enamel, so they will only need to address teeth in the smile line.

Do I need dental bonding or porcelain veneers?

Tooth bonding and veneers are similar treatments addressing stained and damaged teeth. However, dental bonding is best for patients who do not want permanent treatment. Bonding can also address smaller imperfections in the smile. Veneers fully cover the front of single teeth and require more preparation to ensure they last.

Dental veneers will change the appearance of natural teeth with the preparation process, so patients must be committed to covering their teeth with veneers or another cosmetic treatment. We will recommend a treatment that matches your specific cosmetic problems and goals.

Can you whiten dental restorations?

Teeth whitening is only effective on natural teeth. You cannot whiten dental crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays, or onlays because of their materials. Brushing, flossing, and avoiding tobacco products, foods, and drinks that stain can keep restorations bright. We can also provide replacement if your restorations have darkened over many years.
